Maths

During the school shutdown, Alameda will be using the White Rose Home Learning website to support our pupils to continue their maths learning at home. For year 5, this uses the same scheme of work, which children would have been following, in school. Each week there will be five separate lessons, each with a short video clip to help the children understand the topic. Each lesson has a worksheet that can be printed, as well as an answer sheet, so parents can feel confident supporting their child.

Using the lessons:

  1. Click on the set of lessons for your child’s year group.
  2. Watch the video (either on your own or with your child).
  3. Find a calm space where your child can work for about 20-30 minutes.
  4. Use the video guidance to support your child as they work through a lesson.
