Non-uniform day for George

You may have seen on social media recently that a local young boy has been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour.  George is a lovely young lad and is friends with some of our Alameda pupils.

George’s family, understandably want to focus on making memories with him and are keen to access treatment for him, which is not available in the UK.

There is pioneering treatment available in Germany which buy will buy extra quality time for George and could improve his life chances. This is, as you will appreciate, very costly. Members of the local community are already joining together to help raise some much needed funds to get George the pioneering treatment he needs.

Additional information and details of how you can contribute are available below:

We will be holding a non-uniform day for George on Friday 11th June. We ask that families either contribute via the just giving page or by sending a donation into school which will be collected on the school gates.

There is no theme to the non-uniform day, but we ask, as always that pupils dress appropriately for a school environment.

Thank you in advance on behalf of George’s family for your support.
