Year 5  

Year 5 pupils wll receive maths homework once a week and also 1 piece of English homework per week and additionally spellings to learn.

Year 6 

For Year 6 this year we have not set a homework timetable as department leaders have agreed that teachers are able to set at their own discretion; based on sets, learning and needs.

Year 6 should be getting 1 piece of maths each week – this may be MyMaths based – spellings in English, as well as an additional piece of English homework which may be Grammar and/or Reading based.

Every now and then, subject teachers may also set curriculum homework.

D/T- This may take the form of project work set by the class teacher when needed at appropriate stages within the schemes of work. Music and PE may set given taskes to compliment a certain topic within the curriculum at differenct stages of the term.

Other homework may be set from time to time on an occasional basis.
