Extreme Weather
Winter weather
As the bad weather begins to set in, I would just like to remind everyone to take extra care when walking on any icy ground and/or pavements, and whilst driving on the icy roads.
School closure
Should the school close due to bad weather the following will happen:
- An Edulink message will be sent out before 8:00am on that day.
- The Central Bedfordshire Schools SOS system will be updated (see link below)
If the school is open
In the event that we do open but conditions are snowy/icy, please be aware that the main pathway will be cleared as a priority so it will be safest to access the school site this way, but as always, should only be a pedestrian route. This is indicated on the map below. The other access point which will be cleared as a priority is the side gate and path by the PE changing rooms, again, indicated on the map below. The school cannot be held responsible if parents choose to walk on uncleared pathways.
